Recent Shipping Delays

Midamar’s goal, is and has always been, to provide the best product to our customers delivered in a timely fashion right to your door!!  However, due to COVID-related issues at FedEx, as well as the  various weather issues that have been happening continuously throughout the country, you may experience delays in receiving your FedEx shipment.  Midamar works with FedEx regularly and has no control over FedEx’s delivery schedules, so we apologize in advance for any inconveniences this may cause.

In anticipation of these possible delays, Midamar may be adding extra dry ice or ice blocks to certain orders based on where they are being delivered,  to ensure product arrives at your doorstep at a proper temperature. We may also be shipping some orders to California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Arizona, and Nevada exclusively on Mondays to try and avoid any possible delay in receiving your order.  Please keep this in mind when placing your order.  An order received on Tuesday or later in the week may not ship until the following Monday depending on the destination.

Our Shipping Process

We at Midamar Corporation would like to thank you for your order. We appreciate your business and hope you found your shopping experience at easy and efficient. All our quality Halal foods are shipped in an insulated Styrofoam box with plenty of dry ice to keep foods protected and safe.

We ship to the contiguous 48 states. If you would like to order to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico please call us at 1-800-362-3711 to order. 

Packing Your Order

We ship every order in a thick, insulated styrofoam box to keep your products cold during transit. We also pack each order with plenty of dry ice to keep the temperature low and packing paper to keep your products safe.

Sometimes the order will arrive, and the dry-ice has melted. Typically this means the dry-ice has done it's job, and your product will be cold and ready for use. Always check your product is frozen or cold before placing it in your freezer. Please, contact us if you have any concerns.


At Midamar, we work very hard to ensure that shipping charges are affordable for all of our customers.  We offer a flat shipping rate of $9.99 for ground delivery to your home.  Depending on your location within the United States, this may take up to 4 days.  Always keep in mind that we are located in Iowa. 

We also give our customers the option to expedite their order by selecting our express shipping option.  The cost of this option varies by weight and weight is determined by the weight of the product only.  Express shipping rates are listed below:

Up to 50 lbs: $59.99

51-80 lbs: $79.99

If your order exceeds 80 lbs, please call 1-800-362-3711 ext. 1 to determine your shipping charges.

Shipping Schedule

All orders ship Monday through Wednesday and should be delivered within 3 business days or less. If received after Wednesday at 12 pm CST, your order will be shipped on the first Monday of the following week. This schedule is set to avoid possible delivery delays over the weekend.

Order Minimum

There is a $99 minimum to order from We have to implement this minimum as many orders cost more to safely and properly package and ship then it would be for profit. This minimum makes it possible to continue offer our home delivery service.

Order Processing

All quality Midamar Halal products that leave our facility are hand packed for quality assurance. Please allow 24 hours to process your order. No orders will be processed Thursday through Sunday or on recognized holidays. Your package should arrive within 3 business days from the day your order is shipped. All orders are shipped between Monday and Wednesday of each week. To ensure delivery, all orders must have complete and accurate shipping details, including a phone number and the ship-to address. Midamar Corporation is not responsible for incorrect addresses and incorrect information. If you are ordering to an apartment address, please be sure to make prior arrangements with the apartment manager if you will not be available to receive your package. Midamar cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, A.P.O. or F.P.O. addresses at this time. We will gladly deliver to rural routes with complete addresses and telephone numbers. Overnight and Express 2-day delivery is available for an additional cost. Please call for rates and availability.

Order Status

When your order is processed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation from Midamar with your customer FedEx tracking number and instructions on how to track your package and receive updates. 

Large Or Bulk Order Shipping

International Orders

At this time, is unable to ship to any international destinations. Please call us with any questions and speak with our International Sales Representatives regarding export programs available through our corporate website

Product Out Of Stock

Midamar diligently works to make sure products ordered by our customers are in stock. Unfortunately, for reasons beyond Midamar’s control, certain product(s) may be temporarily out of stock at the time an order is placed.

Should one or more products ordered be out of stock Midamar reserves the right to refund the cost of that product to you in your form of payment. Midamar knows how important your order is to you so in the event this situation should occur Midamar will ship the remainder of your order. Should your order be shipped without one or more product(s), Midamar will contact you by email explaining that the order will be shipped with only the product in stock.

Incorrect Shipping Address

Please verify the billing and shipping addresses you entered are correct. Midamar cannot accept responsibility for any package/s shipped to an address that was input incorrectly by customers of the website.

Pick Up From Midamar Headquarters

Midamar now has a pickup option for local customers. If you live in Iowa and want to avoid shipping costs, you are welcome to come to our headquarters and pick up your order in person. Please allow us 24 hours from the time you place your order to process it and ensure it is ready for you. Orders can be picked up anytime between 9 am - 4 pm.
