This week we're combining the festive with the beefy!
I love the fall season. The leaves turn all kinds of oranges and reds and it's a beautiful time. I also really enjoy the treats that come out around this season, which leads me to todays recipe!
These Halal bacon caramel apples are a fun way to take something that is already good and take it to the next level with some nice smokiness. Not to mention, it's a great way to kids in the kitchen. Not to mention, this bacon caramel apple recipe is so quick and easy.
Get some cake pop sticks, some of your favorite apples, caramels, and Midamar's Halal Beef Bacon, and you're half to completion!

Ingredients:
4 apples
4 candy/cake pop sticks
1 bag of caramels
4-5 strips of Midamar beef bacon, cooked and cut into crumbles
Instructions:
1) Fry Midamar Beef Bacon to a crisp. Let cool in a paper towel lined plate for 2-3 minutes. Once cool enough to handle, chop into bite sized pieces
2) Insert cake pop sticks into the stem of the apple. Melt caramels in 30 second increments in the microwave, mix after each interval.
3) Lay bacon out on a wax paper lined baking sheet. Twist apples in melted caramel and roll in bacon
4) Let cool in the fridge for 10-30 minutes, covered. Remove from fridge and enjoy!
