Pizza Dough Ingredients
1 package of active dry yeast
1 tablespoon of sugar
¾
2.5 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
Olive Oil
Sauce Ingredients
1 8oz can of tomato sauce
1 6oz can of tomato paste
1 teaspoon of Italian Seasoning
1 teaspoon of chopped parsley
½ teaspoon each of salt, onion powder, oregano, and pepper
2 teaspoons of minced garlic
Directions
Add sugar to the water and add yeast. Let it stand for 20 min or until you see creamy bubbles on top.
Mix flour and salt together.
Put yeast in a large bowl and then stir in the flour gradually. Add the oil. If you have a dough kneading attachment you can use it at this point to slowly stir and knead the dough. Otherwise, you can use your hands to stir and knead the dough until it is smooth.
Roll it in a ball and let it stand for 5 to 30 minutes. Note: the longer it stands the easier it is to pat down into a flat pizza.
Put some flour on a counter or cutting board. Put some oil on your hands. Then pat the dough down quickly. Do not manually stretch the dough. After about 20-30 pats, transfer the dough on to a cookie sheet or round pizza sheet, or a pizza stone. Optional: Adding parchment paper with a teaspoon of oil spread on the paper on top of the pizza pan will prevent the dough from sticking to the pan.
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl and spread on the uncooked pizza dough
Then add 1 lb. of grated mozzarella cheese. For tastiest results, grate the cheese yourself.
Cover the cheese with Midamar Seasoned Beef Pizza Topping
