Fresh Quality

The quality and freshness of the goat meat was appreciated. My curry goat tasted delicious and not overly gamey which indicates the cleaning and preservation was properly done. The shipment arrived very well packaged and I was able to transfer immediately to my own freezer with no concerns as the meat was still completely frozen upon arrival. Thank you for a great first experience using your Halal business.

Meat was very hard, i used pressure coojer for 35 min but even after that the cubes were hard to chew Also goat meat had very strong odor and even though i soaked it in butter milk for 12 hours prior to cooking, the smell was still there.

very tender goat, perfect for curry

I bought the two lbs goat cubes. Just yesterday I pulled it out and made curry with sauteed onions and tomatoes, carrots and potatoes. This was done with curry , onion powder/ smoked paprika/salt/pepper and vegetable broth. Two hours later in an instapot, voila, very very excellent curry. Served it with yogurt mixed in and toast. The goat was not strong against the spice but it was fall apart tender with just the right amount of fat. There are small bones associated with this, but nothing too small. The bones can be easily fished from the bowl.

Some years ago seven bone steak used to be readily available as an inexpensive, wonderfully flavored meat. It took well to long baking with vegetables. It's really no longer available. This? This goat meat? Perfect replacement. No more hunting for seven bone.
